A stay designed around you

Ayurveda has long given attention to women’s health at different stages of life. Centres design stays around, for example, menstrual wellbeing, the months after childbirth — known in Ayurveda as sutika paricharya, traditional postnatal care — and the years around menopause.

A woman physician consults you first, then sets a plan of therapies, food, yoga and rest. We ask for women therapists for all hands-on therapies; at most Kerala centres this is already the norm.

Who it suits

  • Women at any stage of life who want rest and attention
  • Mothers in the months after childbirth, once their doctor agrees

Check first

Most Ayurvedic therapies are not given during pregnancy. Postnatal stays begin only after your own doctor agrees. Wellness programmes do not replace gynaecological care.

Questions guests ask

Can I be sure of women-only therapists?

Yes. We confirm women therapists with the centre in writing before you book.

Is there a programme for pregnancy?

We do not arrange therapy programmes during pregnancy. Gentle prenatal yoga with a qualified teacher can be arranged, with your doctor’s agreement.
