How it works
This is the bridge between Massvaa Care Medical and Wellness. It is for guests who have had treatment at one of our partner hospitals, or elsewhere, and want to recover somewhere calm before flying home.
A recovery stay begins only after your treating doctor’s written clearance. The doctor decides when it can start and what it may include. With your consent, we share your discharge summary with the wellness centre so its physician and physiotherapist can plan around it.
What it can include
By a qualified physiotherapist, following the exercises and limits your surgical team set.
Individual sessions adapted to your condition: breathing, gentle movement and relaxation.
Gentle therapies chosen by the physician, keeping away from the surgical site unless your surgeon agrees.
Nourishing meals, regular rest and a quiet setting.
Family members who cared for you can have their own programme of rest.
Examples
A mobility-focused stay once the wound has healed and your surgeon agrees, with physiotherapy at its centre.
Yoga therapy and physiotherapy within the movements your surgeon allows.
A calm stress-and-sleep stay with graded activity, as your cardiologist advises.
If anything changes
Your medical coordinator stays on your case throughout. If the centre’s physician notices anything that concerns them, you are referred back to your treating hospital straight away. Fit-to-fly remains your surgeon’s decision.

Questions guests ask
When can a recovery stay begin?
Only when your treating doctor gives written clearance. The timing depends on your procedure and your recovery, and it is always the doctor’s decision.
Will the wellness centre see my medical records?
Only with your consent, and only what the centre needs — usually your discharge summary and your surgeon’s instructions.
What if I feel unwell during the stay?
The centre contacts your medical coordinator and you are referred back to your treating hospital. For emergencies, the centre calls local emergency services first.
