Questions to ask any centre

  • Who will consult me, and what is their registration number?
  • Will a physician see me before any therapy, and during the stay?
  • What exactly is included in the price, and what costs extra?
  • Are the herbal preparations made in-house or bought from licensed manufacturers?
  • Can I have a therapist of the same gender?
  • What happens if I fall ill — which hospital do you use?
  • How do you handle my health information?
  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Red flags

Promises to cure a disease, or guaranteed results
Therapies booked before any consultation
Advice to stop your prescribed medicines
No written price, or a price that changes after arrival
Pressure to buy large quantities of herbal products
Reluctance to share practitioner registrations

How we vet a centre

Before we recommend a centre, we carry out a site visit or a detailed video walk-through, check practitioner registrations, read sample programme documents and review feedback from past guests. We collect prices, durations, inclusions and photographs in writing, and we review each centre again over time.
