Why guests from the Gulf choose India
Kerala and the Gulf have been connected for generations, and there are many direct flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait, Bahrain, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Delhi. The flight to Kerala is often only about four hours.
The Kerala monsoon, from June to September, is a traditional season for Ayurveda — and it coincides with the hottest months in the Gulf. Many families combine a programme for one person with a relaxing stay for everyone else.
Planned around your needs
An Arabic-speaking concierge, and interpreters for consultations where needed.
Requested from the centre and confirmed in writing before you book.
A quiet space and prayer times respected in the timetable, on request.
Women physicians and therapists for women guests; men for men.
Family rooms, villas and programmes for companions.
The Greco-Arabic tradition of tibb, available in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad.
Ramadan and travel
Many guests prefer to avoid intensive programmes, which involve diet changes and therapies at set times, during Ramadan. If you do travel then, tell your concierge; the physician can adapt the plan or suggest a better time.

Questions guests ask
Is halal food available at Ayurveda centres?
Most Ayurvedic centres serve vegetarian food, which avoids the question for many guests. Where you want halal meat or confirmation of kitchen practices, we request it and confirm it in writing before you book.
Can my whole family come?
Yes. We look for centres with family rooms or villas, and plan activities and lighter programmes for companions.
Do I need a visa?
Most Gulf nationals need a visa for India, and many are eligible for the e-Visa. Check the official portal, and ask your concierge which category fits your plan.
