Why Bengaluru
At around 900 metres, Bengaluru is milder than most Indian cities for much of the year. Its outskirts have some of India’s best-known naturopathy and integrative wellness resorts, set in large gardens, as well as the National Institute of Unani Medicine.
The city is a practical base: it has one of India’s busiest international airports, and Mysuru, the coffee hills of Coorg and the Kerala border are all within a few hours.
When to go
October to February is ideal. March to May is warm, and the monsoon from June to September is moderate by Indian standards.
